Racket Review: Yonex Nanoflare 700 Pro

Our GSM expert, Niels, had the opportunity to test out the Yonex Nanoflare 700 Pro badminton racket.

It’s an excellent racket for badminton.

When discussing my badminton rackets, I prefer to focus on their performance rather than technical details.

I won’t go into every aspect of this racket, but I’ll provide you with ample information about its playability and possibly even compare it to the original Nanoflare 700.

The Nanoflare 700 Pro is known for its medium flexibility and a more balanced head compared to the 1000 and 800 Pro models released last year.

It features a wide frame design in a striking Midnight Purple color, and you’ll notice some colorful decals if you take a closer look.

The stringing pattern on this 700 Pro model remains the same as the original, which enhances its enjoyable playing experience.

I’ve been using it for about a week or two now, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’ve found it particularly useful on days when I’m hitting a lot of shuttles and might feel fatigued. This racket has helped me maintain my strength and stamina until the end of the day.

The lighter head weight is a wise choice, making it lighter than the original 700.

The shaft also feels slightly more flexible than the original 700, contributing to the overall feel of the racket.

During the swing, there’s no lag in the head. It feels true and crisp, and I absolutely love it.

In terms of power, it does have some, but it may not be as powerful as some other rackets like the 800 or 1000. However, some players find that a lighter head provides more power, so it’s subjective.

When it comes to defense and playing at the mid-court net area, this racket excels.

It’s highly maneuverable, and I appreciate the wider body design as well.

The feel of hitting the shuttle with this racket is quite different from the 800, 1000, or even an Arcsaber 11.

It’s challenging to describe, but it feels like there’s more weight behind your shot when using this racket, resulting in a crisp and true feel.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the Nanoflare rackets released in the past year, and this one has emerged as my personal favorite.

The 800 and 1000 rackets were also excellent, each offering unique features.

I particularly appreciated the 800’s additional cross strings, which provided a denser string bed. On the other hand, the 700 Pro has a light and airy feel, making it highly maneuverable, powerful, and responsive.

Overall, the feel of this racket is fantastic, and I anticipate using it regularly over my other rackets.

I’m particularly impressed with its flexibility, speed, and stringing.

It’s strung with Exbolt 68, which I believe complements the racket exceptionally well.

Of course, the perfect racket is subjective, but this one certainly stands out as superb.
